ABSTRACT The goal of this study:

The polluted water from the soil or waste]water of industry is harmful for us. The goal of this study is to develop the efficient system that saves energy and that there is no waste disposal during treatment of the polluted water and no harmful by-product during chemical decomposition of the pollutants. The equipments of the system operate in actual scale for application.

The results in 2001 and 2002:

We carried out the experiment of separating trichloroethylene (TCE) from water and decomposing it in gas. As a result, we succeeded in treating the polluted water (10mg/L TCE) to the water (0.03mg/L TCE) with 1.0t/h equipment.

The results in 2003:

We succeeded in the continuous operation and achieved the target specification of the equipment for tetrachloroethylene (PCE). This equipment (1.6t/h capacity) can treat the polluted water (10mg/L TCE) to the water (0.01mg/L TCE). We also operated other 7 VOCs and succeeded.

The results in 2004:

We moved the equipment (1.6t/h) to the site  polluted by VOCs and we operated it well continuously.  We also developed the new equipment for several VOCs that have the property of high boiling point and high water-solubility. Nowadays we can treat all of water polluted by VOCs regulated.
