Introduction

Chemical Research Group is tackling on the reduction of carbon dioxide from the stand point of chemistry.
Namely, in the short term research interest, we are studying on the separation and fixation of carbon dioxide in the effluent gas from the large point sources, such as power plant, iron works plant and so on. There are mainly three methods of carbon dioxide separation from effluent gas, that is, absorption by organic base solution, separation by polymer membrane and adsorption by inorganic porous materials.
